Vedauwoo Wyoming Engagement Session
As a wedding photographer, every session is a unique opportunity to tell a couple’s love story. Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing the engagement session of Payton and Brendan at the stunning Vedauwoo in Laramie, Wyoming. This picturesque landscape, with its dramatic rock formations and sweeping views, provided the perfect backdrop for their romantic journey.
How They Found Me
Payton and Brendan found me through a Google search to be their engagement photographer, and I’m so happy that they did! Their connection is undeniable, having met while studying at the University of Wyoming. Their story took a beautiful turn when Brendan proposed to Payton in Scotland in April 2024, adding an enchanting element to their love story. As they plan their elopement in Hawaii, it’s clear that this couple is not only adventurous but also deeply in love.
One of the most heartwarming aspects of this session was the presence of their two beloved mini schnauzers. As a fellow mini schnauzer owner, I felt an instant connection with them. Their furry companions added a playful and joyful element to the shoot, making it even more memorable. It’s always wonderful when couples include their pets in their special moments, and Payton and Brendan’s dogs were no exception. They brought an extra layer of warmth and personality to the photos.
Throughout the session, Payton and Brendan were incredibly relaxed and open to trying any prompts I suggested. Their down-to-earth nature made it easy to capture genuine moments filled with laughter and affection. Whether they were sharing a quiet moment together or playing with their dogs, the love they share is so sweet.
Aerial Perspectives
To elevate the experience, I brought along my drone to capture aerial shots of them! I have recently been using my drone more at sessions and I love bringing it along! The drone allowed me to capture their connection from a unique perspective, highlighting the vastness of nature surrounding them while keeping the focus on their intimate moments.
As they prepare for their upcoming elopement in Hawaii, I can only imagine the beautiful memories that await them. Payton and Brendan’s love story is one that is filled with adventure, warmth, and the joy of companionship, both human and canine. I am grateful to have been a part of their engagement journey and can’t wait to see where their love takes them next.
