Snowy Range Mountain Family Session
A family session in the Snowy Range Mountains is one of my favorite things! I got to photograph The Johnson family this September and they traveled all the way from sunny Florida. Their personalities really shined through in every candid moment we shared, making this session one for the books.
A Christmas Card to Remember
The primary inspiration for their photography session was simple yet meaningful. They wanted updated family photos to share with loved ones through Christmas cards. This goal resonated with their desire to create lasting memories while they explored the natural beauty surrounding them. The mountains offered the perfect backdrop, and it was the closest range to their vacation spot in Encampment.
One of my favorite moments during the session was witnessing the playful connection the Johnsons had with one another. They embraced every prompt I presented, from running up the mountain toward me to sharing spontaneous laughter. Their daughter, Braelynn, brought a unique charm to the session; every time I asked her to say “cheese,” her radiant smile lit up the frame. It was these candid moments that truly captured the essence of their family vibe.
Throughout the session, emotions ran high, filled with joy and affection. The playful nature of the Johnson family translated beautifully into the photos, showcasing their genuine bond and love for one another.
