Jackson Wyoming Elopement
In the heart of Jackson, Wyoming, Jessica and Dustyn embarked on a breathtaking elopement that perfectly captured their adventurous spirit. Meeting on Tinder in 2023, this couple quickly discovered they shared a deep connection. Jessica works as a Labor and Delivery nurse and Dustyn is employed at a surface mine. Their journey led them to the stunning Snake River Overlook in Jackson, Wyoming. They eloped surrounded by 24 of their closest family and friends on a beautiful September day.
The Perfect Day
The day began at the cozy Teton Valley Cabins in Driggs, Idaho. Jessica and Dustyn got ready separately, building anticipation for their first look at the iconic Mormon Row Barn located in Moose, Wy. Jessica had on a beautiful flowy white dress with turquoise accents on her belt, jewelry and cowboy boots. Sticking with the western theme, Dustyn wore a cowboy hat and boots. They first chose to read private vows to each other while holding hands. Then their first look was a magical moment, filled with genuine emotion that set the tone for the rest of the day.
The couple chose to elope not only for the breathtaking scenery but also to honor Jessica’s parents, who had eloped in Jackson themselves. This meaningful connection added depth to their celebration, as they recreated some cherished photos from her parents’ wedding day. After the ceremony, we drove around to different spots to take more photos! We went to Schwabachers Landing and also to Jenny Lake! After we were done, they celebrated at the Gather restaurant in downtown Jackson, enjoying a delicious meal with their loved ones.
Personalized Touches
A unique touch that made the day even more special was Jessica’s Father hand-made a leather bouquet wrap for her. This personal detail tied in family tradition, adding a layer of significance to their wedding day. Their color palette for the elopement was azazie paprika, peacock, terracotta, eucalyptus, and butterscotch. Their day was a beautiful blend of rustic charm and elegance.
As their photographer, I had the privilege of helping Jessica and Dustyn craft a personalized timeline that perfectly suited their vision for the day. Having been best friends with Jessica in high school, it was an honor to reconnect and be part of such a significant moment in their lives!
